If your assist feels inconsistent, unresponsive, or has stopped working altogether, this is the original replacement part to get things running the way they should.

How to tell New Edition and Classic Edition apart

Not sure which CGO009 you have? Check these:

Battery position: New Edition has a portable battery on the side of the frame, released with a simple push. Classic Edition has the battery built into the middle of the down tube.
Front light: New Edition has a stem-mounted front light. Classic Edition has it integrated into the frame.
Daytime running light: New Edition has one, integrated into the frame. Classic Edition doesn't have this feature.
Display: New Edition has a color display with boost function. Classic Edition has no display — just dash controls.
Bell: New Edition has an electronic bell. Classic Edition has a mechanical bell.
Frame: New Edition has a lower top tube and standover height, making it accessible to a slightly wider range of rider heights.
